Sage simplifies corporate tax programme

Enterprise software company Sage has launched a corporation tax programme in a response to businesses seeking a simpler solution.

The firm has extended the Sage Corporation Tax application beyond large organisations to smaller companies that have voiced dissatisfaction with the complexity of previous offerings.

The new version of the programme adds to the current Lite Variant. It includes the finalisation of the CT600E charities schedule – an ability to handle multiple trades along with an inclusion of improved administration and reporting.

To make the transition smooth for clients, the software firm will offer a customer support bundle to existing users through a number of events, a support hotline, telephone consultations, transition support packages, installation assistance, and training webinars. Each customer will be given transition information with adequate notice ahead of their license expiry date.

Sage’s UK and Ireland accountants division MD, Paul Tooth, feels that the updated programme delivers what it says on the tin. He said:

“Sage has made a seven figure investment in a new solution that has usability at its heart and is designed to save time when generating corporation tax returns for clients. We’ve made it easier to learn and easier to use.”

Even with the new offering, many business owners are not keen on filling in the numbers when it comes to dealing with tax and HMRC. Fortunately they don’t have to, as an accountant in the Wirral is more than capable of completing the corporation tax application, a process which has just been made significantly simpler.
